Lake Village Resort is a part of the Windsor Castle Hotel Group in the Kottayam district of the state of Kerala and is a reproduction of the Kerala style of art and architecture, culture, lifestyle as well as food and entertainment. Windsor castle hotel and  The Lake Village Resort are spread over 20 acres of land with jush green plantations and palm groves along the banks of the Vembanad lake.  The hotel is located on the banks of the lake and an island named Banyan Island in the middle of the lake. Guests can also enjoy fishing from the rooms.

Lakeside Village Resort is located at Kottayam the gateway of the tourist destination Kumarakom. The 

resort is located at  about 60 kilometers from the Kochi International airport at Nedumbassery and about 2 kilometers from Kottayam railway station. You can reach Lake village resort by road as well as by water.

Accommodation facilities available at Lake village Resort

The Resort has 17 aesthetically well furnished cottages which have been laid out with culture, heritage and life style  of the people of Kerala. Each room has a private balcony overlooking the lake. There is an exclusive ayurveda center named Dhanwanthri  and is the major part of the Lake Village Resort.

These cottages have been recreated from old Tharavadu and the Nambuthiri Illams or the old ancestral homes of noble malayalees of the yesteryears, providing the ideal ambience for a relaxed stay. These cottages are set amongst swaying coconut palms  with the backwaters flowing gently making the village resort  an idyllic destination

The cottages are provided with the modern amenities for your comfortable stay, giving you the feel of staying in a houseboat. The bathrooms are open providing a haven ofprivacy and solitude.

The other facilities available are 24 hr room service, Swimming pools, travel desk, business center facilities, steam bath bookshop, beauty parlor, boat jetty. There is an amphi theatre for the guests to watch movies from.
