About Kovil Homestay, Fort Kochi
Kovil Homestay is a 80 year old is an ancestral home of the Ellikkal family, Kovil is hosted by Mrs & Mr. E.P. Satheesan who had inherited this house from his forefathers. This is a homely accommodation with two bath attached rooms in the traditional and also in the modern building adjacent to the old building. The cortage is the best place for the experience of the traditional living which people in kerala had in those times.
The cottage has a traditional roof and a wooden ceiling, with a court yard, a small lawn and a well maintained garden. The common areas are a verandah where you can sit and enjoy the scenery, and a living area to spend your time watching TV or listening to music. There is a well equipped kitchen, for the guest who like to cook for themselves, refrigerator, gas, utensils, cutlery, which make your stay as homely as possible.

Kovil homestay is located very close to the beach and the home also has a small but beautiful garden. The stay at Kovil homestay is made more memorable because of the traditional kerala dishes cooked specially by the lady of the house.
